Meet Teresa, a dedicated runner and mom of two amazing girls, ages 2 and 3. Her running journey began on her high school cross country team, and she’s loved it ever since. Pregnancy made running uncomfortable, so she switched to walking for a while. In 2025, she decided to run a marathon again—to prioritize her mental and physical well-being as a new mom. Balancing work, motherhood, and training was no small feat, but the challenge was worth every step. She cherished the training miles and the motivation of a big goal, especially on those cold, dark, wet winter mornings. Race day didn’t disappoint either, the Windermere Marathon was well organized, and the energy from volunteers along the course kept her moving. Here’s to setting goals, showing up, and finding your stride no matter the season of life!
