For Andrea, running started as a way to feel good in body and mind. With an active upbringing, staying fit came naturally but raising a family while working full time made it harder to stay active. Nearly 10 years ago, lacing up for her first race marked the start of a new chapter. Fast forward to 2025, Andrea had the joy of running her daughterโs first Half Marathon at the Spokane Marathon. This was her third half of the year, but easily the most memorable, not just because she shared it with her daughter on the course and her husband cheering from the sidelines, but also because of the sheer insanity of the course itself. Seriously, who puts the Doomsday Hill at mile 10?! ๐ But she loved every second and crossing the finish line with her daughter is something both will never forget!
