Registration includes t-shirt, sling bag, custom pint glass and a bottle opener finisher medal. Due to the logistics of timing, no race day registration will be accepted. Shirts are only guaranteed for participants registering more than 10 days before the race. Shirts are on a first come first serve basis for those registering less than 10 days before.
Online registration closes on April 5th, 2018 at midnight. Late registration will still be available at packet pick-up Saturday April 7th, 2018 from 10am – 4pm at Fleet Feet (1303 N. Washington).

Start Strong, Finish Stronger
The 2017 event will feature another awesome finish line and grand finale to your running accomplishment. The finish line will be packed with spectators and volunteers cheering you into the chute to get your medal and t-shirt. To make this possible, this year’s start will be a wave start for the half marathon runners and a mass start for the 10k and 5k runners.
The half marathon will feature a wave start. The 5k and 10k races will have a mass start. You will be disqualified if you start at the wrong time.
Half Marathon: 1-2 hour finisher – 9:30 am
2-3 hour finisher – 8:45 am
3-4 hour finisher – 7:30 am
10k: all participants – 9:45 am
5k:all participants – 10:00 am
Packet pick-up will be Saturday, April 7, from 10am – 4pm at Fleet Feet Downtown (1303 N Washington). You may have a friend pick up your packet if you are unable to make it. No packet pick-up will be available race morning.
Event parking will be available in the dirt lots north of W Summit Pkwy. The best parking access will be available from Cedar St. Additional parking lots are available by the courthouse and health department buildings north of Kendall Yards. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE KENDALL YARDS PAVED PARKING LOTS – these are reserved for local residents only.
Morning Gear Check
We offer a morning gear check on race day. Simply write your bib number on the drawstring backpack we provide at packet pick-up and drop this off at the Gear Check tent the morning of the race. Show us your bib number to pick up your bag after the race.
Rules & Timing
Negative Split is committed to providing a safe and fair racing environment for all participants. Please adhere to the following rules and restrictions.
- Headphones are discouraged for the safety of all runners
- Strollers will not be allowed due to the course being quite narrow in certain sections
- Dogs are not allowed on the course for safety of all participants
Nomadz Racing Services will provide timing for Negative Split. Disposable timing chips will be attached to each participant’s bib number.
We will again partner with Photoboxx for free race photos taken with your phone. Make sure to tag us in your Instagram and twitter posts using #nsplit on race day. Then stop by the Photoboxx booth to pick up your free race photos.
All finishers will be awarded a medal upon finishing. There will be music, bagels, cookies, fresh fruit and hydration at the finish area.
Post race massage will be available in the exhibitor area.
Results will be available immediately following the race and will be posted at the finish. Results will also be available online via Nomadz Racing Services.
